Classroom lecture style and an opportunity to pitch at the office of Garage
Technology Ventures
.  A two session program providing an introduction to
the Venture Community prospective on expectations from companies seeking
funding for their projects.

October 20, 2009
Session One
The first session will cover a condensed detail session introducing the
guidelines and detail elements sought out by investors.  It will include
document preparation to a practical insight on how to achieve success at each
entrepreneur/company level.  

November TBA, 2009
Session Two
Participants that attended the October 20th event will have an opportunity to
submit their business plan for a chance to pitch at Garage Technology
Ventures.  
Only 5 participating companies will be selected based on the best
business plans submitted.  During session two each selected participating  
company will have 15 minutes to pitch their company  idea.  Individuals will
receive a 5 minute feedback from a select group of participating investors.

Participating attendees Business Plan will be accepted beginning
October 21, 1009 - mail plans to:

Lead Session Introduction:
Henry H. Wong
found Diamond TechVentures and a Venture Partner at Garage
Technology Ventures has resided in China & Silicon Valley for the last 25
years.  From being a Serial Entrepreneur to a Venture Capitalist, Wong is in a
unique position where he can fully utilize his operational experience, and
investment talent to help build companies with a global vision and encourage
entrepreneurship.

In his prior Fund, Crystal Ventures, Wong was active with portfolio companies
including SMIC, LGC Wireless, Infinera, and Exavio.  A seasoned investor and
entrepreneur, Wong has succeeded as the founder, chairman & CEO of SS8
Networks Inc., IP Communications, XaQti Semiconductor, CNet Technology
Inc., and Combinet (ISDN Systems).  His success, experience and leadership
are invaluable in his role as an Investor, Serial Entrepreneur and mentor in
Silicon Valley.

In 2002, Wong was the finalist to receive the “Entrepreneur of the Year Award”.  
Wong is an Advisor to 6 non-profit organizations and is active with community
events.  In education, Mr. Wong received a B.Sc. degree in Business
Administration (Major in Finance and Minor in Marketing) from University of
Utah 1980, and a MBA in Telecom Management from Golden Gate University
1983.   He is also a Mentor in the Stanford Graduate School of Business GSB
S-356 MBA Program, and a Team Mentor in the Technology Venture Formation
course MS&E 273 at Stanford's School of Engineering.

Bill Reichert, Managing Director.
Bill Reichert has over 20 years of experience
as an entrepreneur and an operating executive. Since joining Garage in 1998,
Bill has focused on early-stage information technology and materials science
companies. He sits on the Boards of CaseStack, WhiteHat, ClearFuels,
cFares, and ThermoCeramix. Prior to Garage, Bill was a co-founder or senior
executive in several venture-backed technology startups, including Trademark
Software, The Learning Company, and Academic Systems. Earlier in his
career, he worked at McKinsey & Company, Brown Brothers Harriman & Co.,
and the World Bank. Bill earned a B.A. at Harvard College and an M.B.A. from
Stanford University. He was a founding board member and a Chairman of the
Churchill Club, and a Charter Member of the Silicon Valley Association of
Startup Entrepreneurs. Currently he is the Chairman of the Small Fund
Roundtable of the VC Taskforce and a member of the Council on Foreign
Relations in New York.
