Bio's

Srini Beereddy, Founder and CTO brings over 20 years of networking experience to Anuta
Networks. Prior to co-founding Anuta Networks, he was also a co-founder of Jahi Networks, where
he served as VP of Engineering. Srini worked at Cisco as a Technical Leader and Engineering
Manager following the Jahi Networks acquisition. His earlier roles include senior technical
positions at Intel and Trillium, where he served as a Senior Architect. Srini received an MS in
Computer Automation from IIT Kharagpur, India, and holds several patents in networking.  


Arif Janmohamed joined Lightspeed in 2008 and focuses primarily on investments in the areas of
cloud and datacenter technologies, as well as enterprise mobile and SaaS solutions. Arif is
currently working closely with the teams at EdgeSpring, Memoir Systems, Nutanix, Pertino
Networks, Qubole and Virtual Instruments. He was also involved in several Lightspeed
investments which have had successful exits including IO Turbine (acquired by Fusion-io) and
RAPsphere (acquired by AppSense).

Prior to joining Lightspeed, Arif worked in the Corporate Business Development group at Cisco
Systems where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, strategy, and investments in the Unified
Communications, Enterprise Collaboration, Mobile, and SaaS market segments. Before joining
Cisco Systems, he was with Novitas Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm.

Earlier in his career, Arif worked in technical development and product management roles at
WebTV (acquired by MSFT), Andes Networks (acquired by SUNW), and Sun Microsystems.

Arif is a charter Member and member of the Organizing Committee for the C100, a non-profit,
member-driven organization that supports Canadian technology entrepreneurship through
mentorship, partnership and investment. He also founded WVP Ventures, a student-run venture
capital fund, while in business school. Arif holds an MBA from the Wharton School, University of
Pennsylvania and a BSc in computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada.


Shashi Kiran is the Senior Director, Market Management for DataCenter Cloud & Open Netorking
& ONE/SDN portfolio market management at Cisco.  Shashi has more then 17 years leading
global marketing, product line management & sales-engineering teams .He has broad experience
across Enterprise, Service Provider and Public Sector segments. He has strong combination of
business & technology skills with expertise in strategy development & global execution at scale.

James Liao leads strategy and growth efforts for Pica8™ as the company shapes the SDN space.
He has a proven track record in networking product innovation and development. Before founding
Pica8, James led product strategy for switching and data center products at original device
manufacturer Quanta. Prior to that, he built world-class engineering teams at both Woven Systems
and 3UP Systems. James holds a MS in Computer Science from Stanford University.



Jason Matlof started his career at Cisco in the mid-1990s, where he managed Cisco’s product
management team for the company’s multi-billion dollar family of fixed-configuration Catalyst
switches. Later, he was appointed VP of Marketing and Business Development at Neoteris, an
early-stage network security start-up, where he developed the company’s product strategy and
established market leadership within the emerging SSL VPN product category. After Neoteris was
acquired, Jason served briefly as VP of Marketing for Remote Access Products at Netscreen and
Juniper Networks. He was an early stage investor and Partner at Battery Ventures where he
helped build eight early stage start-ups. Jason has a BA with honors from UCLA and an MBA from
Harvard Business School.


Joerg Nalik, Director, Infrastructure Technologies, is member of SAP’s Product Architecture and
Technology Strategy group. Since 20 years he collaborates with SAP technology partners on topics
like cloud infrastructure, network technologies, performance optimizations, database
technologies  and more. He is actively contributing to SAP’s community activities with frequent
blogs on scn.sap.com and as member of the SAP Mentor group.

Joerg holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Muenster in Germany.


John Vincenzo, Vice President, Marketing is a diehard New England sports fan, John gave up his
snow shovel and Celtics, Red Sox, Patriots and Bruins tickets to move to the West Coast and
become Embrane’s Vice President of Marketing.  He is responsible for the global promotion,
positioning and overall marketing of the company’s virtualized network services solutions.  John
has nearly 20 years of strategic high-tech marketing experience, including in the networking and
telecom industries.

Prior to joining Embrane, John was Vice President of Marketing at 3Com Corporation. He oversaw
the highly successful public launch of the data center-to-edge enhanced enterprise-networking
portfolio, and was a key member of the leadership team that helped 3Com increase its position,
market share and awareness in the enterprise networking industry.

John also has held several marketing and communications positions with companies including
Verizon Communications, Level 3 Communications and Genuity, a leading managed Internet
service provider (formerly BBN). John graduated with a Bachelor of Science in communications
from Emerson College in Boston.


Isabelle Guis is a high tech executive helping companies shape and grow the Software-Defined
Networking industry. Previously part of the executive team at Big Switch Networks, one of the
pioneering SDN start-ups, Isabelle was the founding Chair of the Market Education committee at
the Open Networking Foundation (ONF). Isabelle has extensive global experience and held a
variety of positions from R&D to product management and marketing for both enterprise and
service provider market segments.  Prior to Big Switch, she managed the P&L of Avaya’s Small
and Medium Enterprise Communications Business Unit as its General Manager with worldwide
responsibilities for product design, development, marketing and indirect sales. At Cisco, she was
instrumental in the post-acquisition integration of the WLAN start-up Airespace with Cisco Go-To-
Market and also led several Mobile Vertical Solutions from design and testing to launch. Isabelle
holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Supelec in France
and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
