Tim Colleran
Vice President Marketing, ZeroG Wireless
Tim Colleran is ZeroG Wireless' Vice President of Marketing. Colleran brings over twenty years of
semiconductor and EDA marketing experience to the company. Colleran joins ZeroG from Altera
Corporation where he most recently served as the Vice President of the Consumer, Automotive and
Broadcast business units. He also served as Vice President of Product Marketing and Vice
President of European Business Operations, where he led the effort to develop a "Greenfield"
business operations center supporting EMEA and parts of Asia. Colleran has also spent time with
Actel Corporation and Synopsys Inc. Colleran holds a BSEE from the University of California at Santa
Barbara and an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA.
General Manager & VP, Wireless Products Division, Sigma Designs
Mr. Nguyen is a well-recognized authority in the fields of wireless communications and digital signal
processing with over 22 patents. Mr. Nguyen joined Sigma Designs as the General Manager & VP of
the Wireless Products Division through the acquisition of Blue7 Communications in February 2006.
He was the Founder and CEO of Blue7, a privately-held company that developed the Ultra-Wideband
Wireless chipsets for consumer electronics. Prior to founding Mr. Hung Nguyen is a seasoned
executive and technologist with 21 years of experiences in semiconductor designs for wireless
systems, optical drives and hard disk drives. He is a well-recognized authority in the fields of
wireless communications and digital signal processing with over 22 patents. Mr. Nguyen joined
Sigma Designs as the General Manager & VP of the Wireless Products Division through the
acquisition of Blue7 Communications in February 2006. He was the Founder and CEO of Blue7, a
privately-held company that developed the Ultra-Wideband Wireless chipsets for consumer
electronics. Prior to founding Blue7, Mr. Nguyen worked at NeoMagic where he served as the Deputy
General Manager & Sr. Director leading the marketing and engineering teams of the Optical Storage
division. At NeoMagic he participated in a successful IPO and the Optical Storage division was later
acquired by LSI Logic. Mr. Nguyen also held several management and engineering positions at
Quantum Corporation and IBM. Mr. Hung Nguyen received a BSEE with distinction from University of
Southern California and a MSEE from Santa Clara University. He was named Inventor of the Year at
Quantum in 1995.
Jose Puthenkulam
Director WiMax Standards Mobile Wireless Group, Mobility Group Intel Corporation
Mr. Jose Puthenkulam presently serves as Vice Chair of the IEEE 802.16 Working Group developing
Broadband Wireless Standards. He was the Intel technical and standardization lead for the 802.16e
standard and significantly instrumental in engaging the ecosystem for completing the standard on
time. Presently he is leading the standardization efforts in the 802.16m project targeting
IMT-Advanced. He was also the editor of the initial ITU-R IMT-2000 contribution for inclusion of
WiMAX in IMT-2000 family. He has been at Intel since 1996, and has worked on wireless
communications, security, video conferencing, information management protocols and related
technologies. He has also been active in promoting 802.16 standards internationally for Broadband
Wireless applications.
He was the Assistant Technical Editor of the IEEE 802.16e Mobile Broadband Wireless Standard
and the Co-Technical Editor of the IEEE 802.16g Air Interface Management Standard. He has broad
wireless communication protocol standardization experience having worked in IEEE, IETF, 3GPP,
WiMAX Forum and GSM Association. He is currently an IEEE Senior member and member of the
IEEE Communication Soceity. He is also a significant contributor of the EAP-SIM protocol in IETF
EAP Working Group and also other topics in compound authentication. He is also well trained in SEI
CMM software development processes having worked in an SEI Level 5 organization (Motorola India
Electronics Ltd.) in Bangalore.
He has won several awards including the 2008 and 2004 Intel Achievement Awards for efforts on
Mobile Broadband Wireless Standardization, 2003 GSM Association CEO Award for 3G-WLAN
Authentication efforts, 1995 Motorola India Individual Performance Award for his work on H.320
Multimedia Communication Protocol based system implementation. He has also won Intel Division
Recognition Awards for his technical contributions in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and
2008. He has an Masters (M.Tech) in Electronics Design and Technology (1994) from Indian
Institute of Science, Bangalore and B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (1992)
from College of Engineering Trivandrum, University of Kerala, India.
Daniel Kellmereit
CEO, Detecon
Daniel Kellmereit has a wealth of experience in the areas of innovation management, marketing,
corporate development and partnership strategies. In his current position as CEO of Detecon Inc. he
is responsible for the Americas region. Prior to his current role, Daniel led the San Francisco office of
Detecon Inc. and was responsible for the Strategy & Innovation practice in the US. Daniel is working
with a number of established global players and start-ups to improve their innovation practices and
accelerate the global launch of new services. His key clients include hardware, software, internet
services and investment companies as well as fixed and mobile telecom carriers.
Before working for Detecon Daniel was co-founder and CTO of EFM Technologies, a software and
services firm where headed up technology strategy, corporate development and professional
services. He also consulted clients in information technology, communications and media at Roland
Berger Strategy Consultants. Mr. Kellmereit holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg
School of Management.

Dr. Alon Konchitsky
CTO and Founder of NoiseFree
Alon Konchitsky heads up the Technology and Engineering of Noise Free Wireless. Prior to serving
as the CTO, Mr. Konchitsky served as Chairman, CEO and President. Alon has 19 years of proven
experience where he held senior management and technical positions at Nokia and Intel-DSPC. He
also held research position affiliated with Stanford University, Department of Electrical Engineering
in the space of Discrete Time RF Processing and Microwave. Many of his products like the DSP
baseband processor as well as the DRF are in RIM Blackberry and Nokia mobile phones. Alon also
worked at IP valuations (Goldman Sachs), managing M&A activities, due diligence, negotiations, IP
consulted to financial institutes, VCs and private equity funds. He holds many granted patents plus
several dozen pending. Alon received BA in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, Masters
of Management and PhD in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, Bournemouth University
and UC San Diego.
Chris Ebert
Head of 4G Strategic Marketing Program North America, Nokia Siemens Networks
Chris Ebert is responsible for strategic product marketing for LTE, WiMAX and 4G for Nokia Siemens
marketing, product development and sales in the wireless industry, he has a proven track record in
defining, marketing and bringing new technologies to market. Additionally, he brings a broad based
perspective from experience working at a Tier 1 networking vendor, notable industry start-ups and
wireless carriers.
Prior to joining Nokia Siemens Networks, he held senior postions at Tatara Systems, Tahoe
Networks, Openwave (originally joining pre-launch as part of Unwired Planet/Phone.com, the
birthplace of the Mobile Internet), Southern Company and Ameritech Cellular.
Claus Bauer
Research Manager, Dolby
Claus Bauer currently manages a research group at Dolby Laboratories, San Francisco. He directs
advanced research on digital multimedia systems and entertainment technologies. He is involved in
the exploration of business models for new technologies and develops concepts for the global
expansion of the company. Previously, he managed and performed research on communication
networks at Tellabs, Boston, and Siemens, Munich. Claus holds various patents and has an
extensive scientific publication record.
Claus graduated with a Ph.D in mathematics from the University of Freiburg, Germany, and spent
three years as a visiting scholar at various universities in China. He speaks seven languages.
Philipp Schloter
General Manager & Business Head, Nokia Point & Find
Mr. Schloter is the general manager for a Nokia growth business based in San Francisco, London,
and Oulu, Finland. Previously, Schloter was Chief Executive Officer of PIXTO, which was successfully
sold to Nokia. He has an extensive background in general management, business development,
management consulting, product management and sales. Schloter holds a BA in Economics, BS in
Computer Science and MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He also completed an
executive program for marketing and leadership at the Kellogg School of Management.
Megan Minich
Senior Vice President, Commercial Electronic Office Channel Management, Wells Fargo
Megan Minich is a Senior Vice President with Wells Fargo's Wholesale Internet Group in San
Francisco. She leads the Wholesale Internet Strategy and Channel Management team for the CEO
channel, setting the vision and executing projects across the CEO portal, CEO Mobile® service, and
messaging platforms and all supporting applications including the CEO self-administration and
enrollment applications as well as focusing on authentication and security across all channels.
Megan joined Wells Fargo in 2000. Prior to her current role, she led the mobile technology team and
was responsible for developing the new mobile customer channel, defining how this new channel
should be integrated into other customer delivery channels and ensuring a consistent, best-in-class
approach to mobile and wireless technologies. Earlier roles have included leading the lockbox
product management team and defining the future strategy of the Wholesale and Retail lockbox
products, identifying new initiatives to better serve target customer segments, and overseeing all
Lockbox initiatives; working in the online strategy and planning group; managing the design and
implementation of an Internet-based workflow and document management solution; and serving as
marketing manager for a B2B marketplace financial product.
Before coming to Wells Fargo, Megan spent four years with Accenture in New York City. She received
her MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, and her undergraduate degree in
Economics from Princeton University.
Lars Johnsson
Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, Beceem
Lars Johnsson is Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Beceem
Communications, Inc. Prior to Beceem, Johnsson co-founded Flarion Technologies, the pioneer of
OFDMA-based mobile broadband technology. At Flarion, which he helped spin out off Lucent Bell
Labs, he was responsible for technology marketing, the product roadmap and the business model
until the company was acquired by Qualcomm. Previously, he worked in Lucent's New Ventures
Group driving wireless startup activities. Johnsson received his B.S. in mechanical engineering from
the University of Hannover, Germany, his M.S. in chemical engineering from the University of
Karlsruhe, Germany and his M.B.A. in technology management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Senior Director, Yahoo! Mobile Strategic Partnership
Andreas is currently responsible for managing Yahoo!’s strategic partnerships with the North
American mobile carriers, focusing on product development/integration, regional distribution
coordination, partner marketing and new business opportunities. Prior to joining Yahoo! in 2007,
Andreas was a senior consulting associate at Detecon Inc. (Deutsche Telekom Consulting), where
he was instrumental in designing and implementing consumer data services and strategic
frameworks for OEMs, wireless carriers, content providers and content aggregators. Andreas also
enjoyed a 6 year tenure at T- Mobile leading mobile data product development projects and
managing teams in Bonn (Germany) and London (UK). Andreas holds a business degree from the
University of Aachen in Germany.





President & CEO, WiChorus
Rehan has over 15 years of technical management and sales experience in telecommunications,
networking and multi-core processors. Prior to WiChorus he was the chief architect for Aperto
Networks and played diverse leadership roles in technology and sales. He led development of
multiple generations of broadband wireless silicon, carrier-grade wireless telecom equipment, and
also brought in multi-million dollar orders in his sales role. These systems are used to deploy
networks globally, in over 75 countries, by more than 400 operators. At Sun Microsystems, he helped
develop one of the industry’s earliest advanced multi-core multithreaded processor for throughput
computing and graphics applications. Part of the technology is now used in Sun’s 32-threaded
Niagra & Rock processors. At Siemens, he managed large-scale projects related to system-level
design and implementation. He regularly contributes to social entrepreneurship projects and is a
charter member of OPEN Silicon Valley. He has over 25 patents pending and graduated with an
MSEE from Purdue University

Ravi Thummarukudy,
VP& GM, IC & IP Business Unit , L&T Infotech
years of experience in the semiconductor/EDA/ Electronics Design Services industry. He is a
co-founder of GDA Technologies, Inc which is a leading IP & Services provider in the fast growing
Electronics product development market. Prior to GDA, he held Global Business and Technology
Management positions at Cadence Design Systems as well as at Tata Consultancy Services and a
Senior Scientist position at the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). He has previously been
Chair of the Hyper Transport Consortium Business Task force. He holds an MSEE from IIT Madras
and an MBA from Santa Clara University. Ravi has contributed several articles on IC design to ISD
Magazine , Chip Design Magazine and Electronic Design



in the late 1980's and more recently Tropian Inc.. As an inventor he now has nearly 50 issued US
patents, with more than 100 patents granted worldwide. He is a graduate of UC Berkeley, Earl
McCune is native to Silicon Valley, and has more than 35 years of experience in wireless Stanford,
and UC Davis. Now retired from Panasonic, he is writing invited textbooks and is a visiting
communication technology. He has founded and sold two start-up companies: Digital RF Solutions
professor at several universities worldwide. He also works at his local consulting office and
laboratory.
